Update: Usability and Bug Fixes

Updates

  • To help folks who copy all/part of the listing title while linking listings, we moved the hyperlink from the listing title to the channel name (screenshot). Special thanks to our friends at ECD for flagging this!

Bugfixes

  • SPS Commerce orders containing an apostrophe in the billing/shipping address weren't importing into Stitch. Now they are!

  • Account owners can once again view invoices via Profile Icon > Account & Billing.

Update: Small changes up front, big changes behind the scenes

It's been a quiet month for Stitch release notes, but our team has been hard at work behind the scenes. The biggest project currently underway is a change to when units decrement.

In today's Stitch, stock goes down when sales orders close. This model is fine as long as orders are ready to close right after being shipped. But for wholesale orders that ship before being ready to close (or retail orders with split shipments), this model creates discrepancies between what you have on your shelves and what you have "in stock" in Stitch.

In future versions of Stitch, stock will decrement when units ship, rather than when sales orders close. This feature will first be available to new customers. Existing customers should be able to migrate later this year or wait until after the holiday rush. We'll share more with you via release notes as things develop.


Updates

  • If you have a 3PL integrated with Stitch, admins can now rename the associated warehouse via Settings > Locations > Edit.

  • The setting to automatically import a channel's products into Stitch inventory is now called Auto Import, rather than the more jargon-y Autobuild. Aside from the name change, it works exactly as before.

Update: Bug Fixes and Usability Tweaks

Updates

  • The Link Listings page now includes hyperlinks to both the listing on your channel and the linked variant in Stitch, helping you ensure that you're linking the right products together.

  • When you exit the Link Listings page, Stitch now takes you back to whatever page you were on before—hopefully resulting in a smoother linking experience.

Bugfixes

  • Stitch was prematurely packing pending Amazon orders, which lack a shipping address while in the pending state. This has been fixed, but the fix must be applied on a per-account basis. If you sell on Amazon and use auto packing, please contact Support to get the update.

Bugfixes

  • Orders importing from SPS EDI were missing carrier information (ship method). This should import properly now.

  • Accounts with a custom fiscal year and already in FY 18 weren't seeing year-end 2017 reports. Now they can!

Update: Sync Improvements for WooCommerce and Etsy

Updates

  • When importing orders from Etsy, Stitch now has additional safeguards to ensure that orders don't get missed between syncs.

Bugfixes

  • When sending shipping details to WooCommerce, Stitch was updating order status before sending the tracking number, prompting Woo to send a confirmation email without tracking details. Stitch now sends the tracking number first so that it's included on the confirmation email.

Update: Channel Listings - Fixes and Improvements

Updates

  • When you manually link channel listings, Stitch now defaults to your channel-level Master of Stock setting. If Stitch is Master of Stock for your channel, this saves you two clicks for each listing you link.

  • We made lots of other small tweaks to the Integrations tab. What would help you work smarter and faster? Let us know via the in-app Submit Feedback button.

Bugfixes

  • Fixed a bug where listings linked from a 3PL weren't getting set to 3PL is Master of Stock.

Update: Channel Listings - New Look and Feel

If you've ever had a hard time linking channel inventory to Stitch inventory, we've got a pending update made for you (live on all accounts within the next day). This update helps you identify and resolve bad product mappings between Stitch and your integrated sales channels—helping you manage inventory and orders more efficiently through Stitch.


New Features

  • The biggest change is a helper page (pictured above), which gives you the info you need to quickly fix unlinked listings (read more)

  • When pushing stock or building from a deleted Shopify variant, Stitch will mark the corresponding channel listing as inactive. This paves the way for easier listing management in Stitch.

  • Your listings page now has a side panel where you can view and edit listing details at a glance (see gif)

Updates

  • For Amazon listings, ASIN and SKU are now labeled appropriately. Woohoo!

  • Early speed tests look promising. For the Channel Listings page, we're seeing a ≈20% speed bump on larger accounts.

Bugfixes

  • This overhaul squashes several bugs on the Channel Listings page. If you spot any, please let us know!

Update: Bug Fixes and Better Handling of Deleted Shopify Products

Updates

  • When pushing stock or building from a deleted Shopify variant, Stitch will mark the corresponding channel listing as inactive. This paves the way for easier listing management in Stitch.

Bugfixes

  • Fixed a short-lived bug that prevented bundles from saving. If you're not using bundles to turn inventory, boost order value, and stand out from the crowd, give them a look!

  • Fixed several bugs related to purchase orders and average unit cost. We also added safeguards that prevent against similar bugs in the future.
